About Amma Heritage Haveli
The Amma Haveli is an 150+ year old, artistically restored Rajasthani heritage home. It is located in front of Gangaur Ghat, 100 meters away from Bagore ki Haveli, 600 meters away from Jagdish Temple and is 1km away from City Palace. All these places are known as the heart of the city and are an absolute treat for eyes.
Das Amma Haveli ist ein über 150 Jahre altes, künstlerisch restauriertes Haus aus dem Rajasthani-Kulturerbe. Es befindet sich vor Gangaur Ghat, 100 Meter von Bagore ki Haveli, 600 Meter vom Jagdish-Tempel und 1 km vom Stadtpalast entfernt. All diese Orte werden als das Herz der Stadt bezeichnet und sind ein absoluter Augenschmaus.
Udaipur is peppered with many Havelis made by skilled handy architects. Walking towards the Haveli from the main street you may be recall of the proceedings of daily lives back in the ancient times. Amma Haveli is a thrill of drama and colours and homeliness. It was owned by a Pehelwan of Maharaja’s family.

The basic architecture of the Haveli remains the same, some additions are done in some to make it look different. Maintaining its splendid traditional structure, the ‘Haveli’ offers a unique experience of living in the historic community.

Living in this house is to experience the Rajasthani culture with comfort and luxury. The central court is open to view the sky, which gets in optimum air and light. The exterior is restored which gives vintage look to the Haveli and is a famous photograph spot among tourists.

The gates, railings, pillars and other accessories that Maharaja added to the property is as it is till the date for the vintage vibe as demanded. All the antique details and accessories are maintained and enhanced to give the vintage and retro vibe.

Stones used in making Haveli (also known as magical stones) stays cool in all seasons and are extinct now. All the miniature stuff of 150 years ago is kept with honor and presented in the Haveli and is used by tourists with same honour.

Notably, the woodwork in the Haveli is coated with black preservative oil that gives it a dark appearance. The ground floor of the Haveli is completely a private area, whereas all the floors have luxurious interiors. Haveli has 5 rooms of same pattern Indians used to have decades ago with attached western let baths and an ambient roof top restro cafe.
Bemerkenswert ist, dass das Holz im Haveli mit schwarzem Konservierungsöl beschichtet ist, das ihm ein dunkles Aussehen verleiht. Das Erdgeschoss des Haveli ist ein komplett privater Bereich, während alle Etagen luxuriös ausgestattet sind. Haveli verfügt über 5 Zimmer mit dem gleichen Muster, das die Indianer vor Jahrzehnten hatten, mit angeschlossenen westlichen Bädern und einem stimmungsvollen Restro-Café auf dem Dach.
Food of all regions of India has been extracted and presented in our Haveli with same exotic flavours including South Indian, North Indian, Rajasthani, Gujarati, Tandoori, Continental and Chinese. All types of fresh traditional Breakfasts, Main Course, Juices and drinks are served with pleasure. This is generally the soul of all Havelis. Staying in the Amma Haveli will be a great deal of privacy and yet be part of the central community space that our Haveli overlooks upon.
